The two sons of the High School Caretaker, James Chasty, husband of Clara Lucretia Chasty, nee How, (used to be the Coastguard at Bray) were also casualties: Richard Christopher Chasty, 9834, Inniskillings and John Norrish Chasty, 12207, Inniskillings.
Another of his sons Sergeant William Chasty, also with the Inniskillings, was taken prisoner and survived the war.
